Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts - The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts is the oldest art school in the United States, founded in Philadelphia in 1805. In 1876, former Academy student Thomas Eakins returned to teach there and re-vamped the certificate curriculum to what it remains today.

All rights reserved. Greatly inspired by Degas, she ended up living in Paris at the Academie Julian under muralist and neoclassical painter, Jean-Paul Laurens. Mr. W. Carby Zimmerman, architect of the Illinois Supreme Court Building mural was completed and installed in 1911. Frame: 1 3/8 wood- embossed antique champagne. In 1918 and 1919, Krehbiel spent his summers at art colonies in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
